Coding Again
I've been saying for ages I need to get back to work on my projects, but now that uni's let out for the holidays I've finally gotten around to it. The last week my sleep cycle's been out of whack (falling asleep in the afternoon), so with no one around to game or talk to, I figured it was about time to get cracking on my latest game.
So, as of the end of the seventh day of work, it now looks something like this:
(unfortunately, about half of this week's work was behind the scenes, whilst looking essentially the same it's a lot more flexible and efficient now)
Obviously all the graphics there are just placeholders, but the sprite's a mock up of the main character. I'm trying to work out what size sprites to use, the bigger ones allow for better quality images (although the placeholder doesn't really show it), but the smaller one allows for more movement in the animations. What do you guys think?
