Confuzzled Update
Damn, things looked so close to being fixed for a bit - but fell through on a piece of miscommunication. I've got the union involved, but am having trouble getting ahold of people - when I phoned the union yesterday they said to speak to the personnel manager and get back to them. The personnel manager wasn't in yesterday, so I had to wait until today, and now today the union guy isn't in. I have the nasty feeling that even if this can be sorted it wont be done in time. As it is, it looks like I'll have to pack as a precaution, and then see Friday morning whether or not to leave.
