Last week was in London again, had a fantastic (if way too hot) time. Also got my first commission done (I've been in this fandom how many years?) - http://forum.ukfur.org/index.php?showtopic=17100 - Go on, get one!

So, Iran wants democracy? Were they not paying attention to Iraq or something? If they do change government though, can they go back to being Persia? 'Prince of Iran' just doesn't have that ring to it.

Why is it I can get a silent fan for my computer, but not my room. My home life is currently a cycle of "I can't hear anything, gotta switch off the fan"/"it's too hot to do anything, gotta switch the fan back on". If this continues, I may be forced to resort to 'the outside'.

What's up with silent computer fans anyhow? I can hear them, just not so much - shouldn't they be called quiet fans? And ultra-silent fans? Something's either silent or it's not, there's no 'ultra' in it!
